Miss Stephani has been dancing for as long as she can remember. With a lifetime of dance education and over 15 years of professional teaching and performing experience, she brings knowledge and passion to the studio and her students.

Miss Stephani started dancing when she was just 3 years old. Her passion for dance continued to bloom as she participated in classes, conventions, recitals and multiple award-winning competitions teams with her studio. She was also an active member of her high school dance team, show choir, orchestra, drama club, speech team, and school musicals. In addition to her fine arts and performance activities, Miss Stephani also worked as a Teacher’s Assistant and Student Director.

After high school, Stephani moved to California where she studied at the California Pacific College of Performing Arts and participated with the Young Americans. While there, she took classes in education, psychology, stagecraft, and other performance and education areas earning her performance certification as well as working with students in Southern California and traveling on International Music Outreach tours to Germany, the Netherlands, and Japan.

After her time with the Young Americans, Miss Stephani returned home, but never lost her passion for dance. While taking classes at IWCC and Creighton University, she also taught at local studios and spent a year as a member of the dance team for an indoor professional football league. After taking some time away from dancing to do a “big-kid job,” She decided her heart still remained with her first love- DANCE and it was time to take a leap (both figuratively and literally), follow her dreams. And Yume Dance Studio was born.

In addition to running a business and all that entails, Miss Stephani coaches East Mills Dance Team and does freelance choreography for local high school and collegiate show choirs and dance teams.
